Organizing in the new year

It seems that every year my New Year's resolutions are about dieting and exercising, but nothing ever changes (especially now that I have 2 kids - I don't have time to sleep, let alone exercise!).  This year I am resolving to get more organized.  This is something I actually enjoy and there are so many resources online to help.  Here are my favorites so far:

I have just discovered this website, but have already found some great posts about cleaning and organizing bathrooms, and since I'm not the only one who has resolved to get organized, there is a 14 days to get clean and organized series.

Lots of great ideas on this site and some cute free printables (I love this one for organizing kids school work).

The Clutter Diet 
I have not joined, but there is some good free advice, including a series of videos on YouTube.

Great Trader Joe's Find

I love shopping at Trader Joe's and today I tried the grilled teriyaki salmon bowl with brown rice and vegetables for lunch.  It was excellent (and a pretty good deal for the price).  I wish I had bought more.  I will definitely stock up on my next visit. 

Monthly Boxes

I have been seeing more and more of these services that send you monthly boxes of products (beauty, food, etc.) or activity kids for kids.  I have found some discounts to try them.  First I signed up for 3 months of bluum, which features products for mom and baby.  I got my first box and thought it was just ok. Most of the products were small samples, so it did not seem worth the price.  I'll let you know what comes next month. 

Today I redeemed my voucher for 3 months of Kiwi Crate, which sends out a monthly box of projects for kids ages 3-6.  I am excited to see what comes.

Hello and welcome to my blog.  I find that I am following more and more blogs and relying on them for ideas for what to cook for dinner, how to save, score freebies and get ideas on organizing my home (my resolution for the year).  I have started this blog to help me organize all of my tools, keep track of new ones and hopefully, others will find them useful.  Please let me know your favorite resources.
